Ancient Egypt New Technology 3

The Writing and Scripts Center, affiliated with the Academic Research Sector, and the Antiquities Museum, affiliated with the Outreach Sector at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (Egypt), in collaboration with scholars from Indiana University Bloomington (USA), Harvard University (USA), the University of California, Berkeley (USA), and the University of Naples 'L'orientale' (Italy) are organizing the international conference "Ancient Egypt – New Technology 3", which will be held at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Conference Center from 17 to 20 May 2026.

This conference brings together experts in Egyptology, digital humanities, archaeology, and computer science to explore how advanced technologies are transforming the study and preservation of Ancient Egyptian heritage. It builds on the success of previous editions held in the USA and Italy, continuing the mission to bridge the gap between technology and ancient studies.
